Born in 1965 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Preston Farabow has called Tennessee home for nearly 20 years. Preston began preparing for a career in art at the School of Design at North Carolina State University before earning his bachelor of arts in 1992 from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Preston Farabow is a proud father and bends metal for a living. He is a professional artist who also owns and operates Aespyre Metal Design at Ironwood Studios, a gallery and working studio in Knoxville, Tennessee. Preston enjoys making art that can be appreciated by people from all walks of life. Preston produces commissioned works for a diverse range of clients, both corporate and private. Recent commissions include the State of Tennessee, The Eastern Band of the Cherokee Tribe, RedBull, and numerous private collections.

"I do not believe that art serves as an exclusive language for the elite; rather the art that I know and endeavor to produce serves as a universal language that encourages further dialogue. I believe that we are born visually literate, with a fully developed sense of imagination.
Unfortunately as we grow and become educated, oftentimes many of us neglect and loose these innate creative instincts. It is my intention as an artist to simply encourage creative thought- an idea that is not exclusive to the artist, but something we are all born with."

Affectionately known as "The Cathedral Guy", Brian Scott Pittman is an architect by trade, an artist by heart, a lover of architecture, a champion of preservation, and a purveyor of good planning.

Brian draws his cathedrals for pleasure and therapy.  They are all freehand and from his imagination.  What happens on a surface is what happens - no turning back once the pen or pencil touches the surface.

He has drawn well over 1,000 cathedrals.

American Nomad Skates started back in late 2003 by Bill Danforth and Jay Kelly.  We had a simple goal...we wanted to make boards that we wanted to skate. Limited options in shaped boards at the time had forced our hand and American Nomad was born.

Please email direct at:  jaykelly13@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Native Maps founder states,

"I'm David, a painter by trade (MFA) and map-maker by day. I designed the first map of Dallas in 2011 as a healthy distraction from my "real" studio work - a way to get to know my hometown better. That first map took off, and I now run Native Maps out of our studio in Knoxville, Tennessee."

"A little about me: as an artist-turned-entrepreneur, I love advocating for makers and small businesses. I helped found The Maker City here in Knoxville - a hub of resources for creative solo-preneurs. I also own and run a studio building full of artists and makers out of a historic church in Knoxville."
