Artist Profile 021: Peter "Peter Dumpling Pleater" Riesing

A graphic designer and illustrator who currently works for numerous locally-owned, small businesses. Peter received a BFA in printmaking and drawing from the University of Tennessee before finding a passion for craft beer. In 2014 Peter began work as an in-house graphic designer for Olde Hickory Brewery in North Carolina tasked with a full rebrand including identity, packaging, and marketing. Since returning to Knoxville in 2017 Peter has worked in freelance design and illustration with a focus on craft beer. Clients include Alliance Brewing Company, Pretentious Beer and Glass Company, Clinch River Brewery, Knox Brew Hub and Knox Brew Tours, Knoxville Community Media, and many more. The skate deck emphasizes a love for fermentation and culinary arts.
