John Kilduff, AKA Mr Let’s Paint, is best known for the cable access tv show titled “Let’s Paint TV”, where Kilduff combines painting with performance. His first love in art was painting the landscape from life (Plein air painting), something that he has done for over 35 years. Today, Kilduff goes back and forth between these two disciplines in the making of his art.
Kilduff received a BFA in Fine Art from Otis/Parsons School of Design (Los Angeles) in 1987. After school, he became interested in performance and took acting (Los Angeles City College) and improv classes (Groundlings). After doing some movie background work he started doing cable access tv in 1995. His first show was titled “The Jim Berry Show”, then in 2001, he started “Let’s Paint TV”.
Kilduff has performed live on Tyra, VH1’s Big in ’06, America’s Got Talent Season #2. Clips of "Let’s Paint TV" have appeared on multiple tv programs as well. Kilduff now does his show daily M-F on the internet and performs live at various venues around the world.
In 2008, Kilduff graduated with a MFA in Fine Art from UCLA. Kilduff has exhibited and performed all over the US, Canada, Australia and Europe. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
